Module 1: How Mindsets Can Uncover What Nothing Else Can
MODULE 1
Too often today, leaders, managers, supervisors, and HR personnel rely on communication styles to make critical decisions about hiring, training, and development – and that is a big mistake! While we may not like how a person presents, we will find a way to work with them if we are headed in the same direction and have a similar focus. ONLY mindsets can reveal a person’s priorities, what drives them, and if we collaborate.
Session 1 – Introduction
Learn how Mindsets or Motivators originate from our cultural background. They are our priorities - for what we choose to do professionally, how we respond to people and circumstances, and what we believe about ourselves and others. They can alter the way we behave.
Session 2 – Introduction to Mindsets
In this lesson, you learn how to identify another’s mindset simply by associative listening. By understanding how to differentiate them between behaviors, you can develop deeper insight into those with whom you work and interact relationally.
Session 3 – Mindsets and Behaviors – What’s the difference?
With an 80% accuracy, you will learn to identify how to ask a simple question of anyone and immediately uncover the most critical aspects of their life. Then you can put that knowledge to work by providing direction and focus so they can understand.
Session 4 – Why should we consider Mindsets?
In this session, we uncover the depth and magnitude of what Mindsets can tell us about another person and the teams/groups we work with. Because your motivators are personal and are molded by experience, we focus on how they can change over time.
Module 2: The Art of Measuring Mindsets/Motivators
MODULE 2
To grasp and apply what others will miss, there must be a systematic approach to identifying another person’s priorities. This module will provide the insight necessary to understand the theory and application of using this information. It will also show how we graphically illustrate what you can observe and hear about what is important and how that will direct another person’s path.
Session 5 – Origins of Mindsets
An overview of Spranger’s approach to what a person values is discussed in depth, along with each of the six mindsets and the three categories in which they fall. Session 6 – Three Types of Mindsets
In this lesson, you will be provided with a general overview of the three categories that drive what takes precedence in your life. The significance of each type also identifies the kind of work and relationships that will be most meaningful and rewarding to you as you walk through life.
Session 7 – Graphic Representation of Mindsets
To develop a mental image of a mindset, we dig into how graphics can identify the intensity or lack of a specific perspective and what that means to the person. Multiple examples are presented of how to interpret the level of intensity and importance of each mindset and what they look like in real life.
Module 3: How The Objective Mind Contributes To Life and Work
MODULE 3
Less than one-third of the population is objective, logical, and at times, seemingly hard to reach. Yet, they are often the nonemotional force that makes things happen when others are wrapped up in the moment's emotion. The objective person often focuses on the results and how they were obtained. They tend to focus on effectiveness and efficiency.
Session 8 – Introduction to the High Theoretical
We begin exploring the Theoretical, objective mindset by examining their strengths and weaknesses, how they want to work and live, and what they need to do to adapt to situations and circumstances in work and play. Finally, we wrap up this overview with specific ways to identify how strong the Theoretical motivation is based on their score.
Session 9 – The Theoretical’s Lifestyle
To hear and apply your knowledge of a Theoretical, you need to understand what their lifestyle looks like and how they will react in various circumstances. Multiple real-life examples are provided to ensure your understanding can be applied in work environments and personal relationships.
Session 10 – Working with a Theoretical

Finally, we wrap up this overview with specific ways to identify how strong the Utilitarian motivation is based on their score.

To hear and apply your knowledge of a Utilitarian, you need to understand their lifestyle and how they will react in various circumstances. Multiple real-life examples are provided to ensure your understanding can be applied in work environments and personal relationships.

In this encounter, we identify ways to hear stress during a conversation with this style. Additionally, you will be provided with personal and professional examples of handling several situations and circumstances that will help you communicate and collaborate with the Utilitarian.
Module 4: How The Subjective Mind Contributes To Life And Work
MODULE 4
Emotional responses from people and circumstances most often sway most people. In doing so, they are usually responsive to their environment and the causes of those they interact with. While they are often very caring, they can also be challenged in getting things done unless specific ideals and objectives are met. Additionally, they tend to want to please others which can often interfere with their objectives. However, you want these people around when you need a friend or colleague!
Session 14 – Introduction to the High Aesthetic
We begin exploring the Aesthetic, subjective mindset by examining their strengths and weaknesses, how they want to work and live, and what they need to do to adapt to situations and circumstances in work and play. Finally, we wrap up this overview with specific ways to identify how strong the Aesthetic motivation is based on their score.

Module 5: How Your Beliefs Contribute To Life And Work

Our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us significantly impact how we present and conduct ourselves to the rest of the world. The degree of those beliefs significantly affects whether others see us as open or closed-minded, strategic or collaborative, and with or without biases in our decision-making process. You’ll want to focus your attention on how you present yourself to others if you want to build trust, handle conflict appropriately and be able to give and receive feedback properly. We will help you understand the strengths and challenges these mindsets present in every aspect of day-to-day life.

We begin exploring the Individualistic belief mindset by examining their strengths and weaknesses, how they want to work and live, and what they need to do to adapt to situations and circumstances in work and play. Finally, we wrap up this overview with specific ways to identify how strong the Individualistic motivation is based on their score.

To hear and apply your knowledge of an individual, you need to understand their lifestyle and how they will react in various circumstances. Multiple real-life examples are provided to ensure your understanding can be applied in work environments and personal relationships.

Session 24 – The Individualistic Traditional
To hear and apply your knowledge of a Traditional, you need to understand their lifestyle and how they will react in various circumstances. Multiple real-life examples are provided to ensure your understanding can be applied in work environments and personal relationships.

In this encounter, we identify ways to hear stress during a conversation with this style. Additionally, you will be provided with personal and professional examples of handling several situations and circumstances that will help you communicate and collaborate with the Traditional.
Module 6: Applying Mindsets To Give You The “Edge” You Need!
MODULE 6
After this program, you will be able to isolate each person’s uniqueness, direction, and priorities by asking a six-word question – and you will do so with 80% accuracy! We will illustrate how listening will position you for success when others are simply watching how others behave. Success will come quietly but conclusively.
Session 26 – Application of Mindsets
This session focuses on applying the mindsets precisely. You will be provided with objective, subjective, and belief styles to ensure that you feel competent in recognizing them through their conversations, helping them achieve their professional goals, and how to deepen their relationships in all aspects of life.
Session 27 – Bringing It All Together
As we wrap up this course, we help you identify how to blend behaviors and mindsets to increase your and other team members' emotional intelligence. If you are a leader or manager, you will also be provided with crucial data to help you during your role's hiring and developmental stages.
