About Trust

Want to build a healthy organization? Build it on a foundation of TRUST! This course will provide you with the hidden ingredients necessary for turning organizational diversity into long-term success.

In this introductory video, we will provide you with insight into why trust is critical to the success of any organization and how each person must play an integral role in the trust building process.

In this exercise, you will be provided with the three questions that impact your ability to trust others and others to trust you. You can then decide if one question is more important than the other.

Section 1: Your Personal Fundamentals for Trustworthiness Development

This section will identify why trust is critical, but few leaders know how to approach it or develop it within their team. We will provide you with deep insights into how you can reverse negative trends and improve each team member’s trust by simply knowing what to look for.

To Trust or Not to Trust (T3)

In this first section, we will introduce you to the psychology behind trust and what elements are critically important for everyone involved.

Take the Trustworthiness Index Assessment

It’s time to begin the discovery journey. You must take your Trust assessment to complete this course.

Our Ancestral Instincts (T4)

We may start out trusting as babies inherently, but trust evolves as we grow older into a choice. In this lesson, we will highlight the three dimensions of trust which impact ours and other's decisions relating to trust.

Trust in the Workplace (T5)

In this section, we will introduce you to exactly how the current state of the economy is impacting trust in the workplace and how we must respond in result.

What makes Trusting So Hard? (T6)

This lesson will focus on identifying and recognizing, amongst differing groups, how one’s personality impacts trust itself.

Powerful, Meaningful Differences (T7)

In this lesson, we will tackle together the concept: diversity of trust. How does diversity of trust impact others in the workplace and how can you use diversity to build trust?

Behaviors (B1)

This lesson delves deeper into individual differences. Each person carries with them a unique personality that can enhance or detract from their trustworthiness. We will help you identify how your unique genetic code can be used to help you build your own trustworthiness at work and at play.

Behaviors and Trust (T8)

This lesson will summarize and conclude the topic of natural behaviors and trust. How does your natural genetic code effect how you build or interpret trust in other people? This lesson will also give you greater direction to further build on improving your own personal trustworthiness.

Mindsets (M1)

Our family, our friends, and our environment all have a massive impact on what each of us believes is culturally appropriate. This lesson will help you analyze how your priorities can affect the way that others trust you.

Mindsets and Trust (T9)

In this lesson, we will go through the contents of Section 1 once more with an emphasis on your cultural mindset’s impact on trust. How do you trust others due to your cultural mindset? How do other trust you?

Section 2: Turning Distrust Into a Culture of Trust

Until you understand and apply each aspect of trustworthiness, you will not know how to develop it. This section walks you through each element and provides insight into focusing your and your team members' attention on what will build and strengthen them into high-performing team members.

Recognizing Trust and Distrust (T10)

This lesson provides a quick "test,” as well as an introduction to some key factors that will help you identify why team members may trust or distrust each other.

Building Trust (T11)

In this lesson, we will go over an approach that will make you 40 times more likely to remember and implement what you have learned in this course. The SMART process will help you deal with conflict, regardless of the style you must deal with.
